How have you been? <3 I visited 2 rustic towns in my region today and they made me think of you because I thought you'd like them. :3
Also, thinking of buying a classic red nail polish, but I can't be arsed to pay the shipping only for one nail polish so I'm in a dilemma here. xD
I’ve been good :) The solution to your problems is to buy more nail polish!
And no one in my family can spend the day with me :( One of my sisters is stuck in another part of the country, unable to get down here, the other one is in the military and can’t come, the third one is working night shifts and needs to sleep during the day and my mom’s car is broken and she can’t go anywhere. At least I have my boyfriend, but he won’t be back from work until late in the afternoon.
… then why do you celebrate Easter? Or any religious holidays? Seriously! If you don’t believe in God, think religion isn’t for you, and not have one percent of faith in you, then why do you take the time to celebrate Easter, Christmas and other religious holidays? Those holidays are meant to praise God and faith. This is just something I’ve always wondered..
Are you Christian? If so - why do you celebrate Easter? Easter is not a Christian celebration, it’s a hijacked Pagan celebration that commemorates the rebirth of the Sun - of light returning to the world after the long months of winter. Why do you think the symbols for Easter are eggs, chicks and hares/rabbits? These are Pagan symbols of life and have nothing to do with the Christian faith.
Are you Christian? If so - why do you celebrate Christmas? Christmas is not a Christian celebration, it’s a hijacked Pagan celebration, it’s a hijacked Roman celebration, it’s a hijacked Norse celebration, it’s a hijacked - I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this. Why do you think the symbols of Christmas are evergreen-trees, the yule-log, holly, ivy, mistletoe, Santa Clause/Father Christmas/Pere Noel etc? These are pre-Christian symbols of the Winter Festival.
The same things can be said of many, many Christian celebrations.
